Introduction to Classical Puppet Techniques WSL/TTL/WKTL
The aim of the lectures and exercises is to develop the following skills:
- Recognizing and utilizing the means of theatrical expression of the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet
- Combining the motor skills of the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet with the interpretation of dramatic text
- Building elementary acting etudes using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet
- Creating a stage character using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet with a defined visual appearance of a given puppet
- Consciously using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet in a shared repertoire

Assessment criteria
III term (Semester) - credit without a mark (non-graded pass)
Methods of verification:
- Monitoring successive stages of specified workshop exercises
- Passing successive stages of specified workshop exercises
- Presentation of performed workshop exercises before the examination committee
- In the case of absence, the student is required to make up for the missed program content.
–The student may have two unexcused absences; in the case of excused absences with a medical certificate, they must attend at least 50% of the classes.
