Techniques for Working with Actors in Puppet Performance WSL/TTL/TPZASL-Z
At the initial stage of the course, students of Directing will be required to select the material they wish to explore. In the winter semester,
this will be a painting or a poetic work.
After analyzing the selected work and familiarizing themselves with its cultural contexts (which will take place through individual research and discussion sessions with the group comprising students from both programs), director-designer teams will be formed. Through this collaboration, they will select expressive means typical of puppet theater to narrate the content of the poetic work or a story inspired by painting. In the next stage, students from the Puppetry Technology program will be responsible for creating the animated figures and scenographic elements outlined in the visual concept.
During the analytical and conceptual stages, classes may be conducted remotely.
