Basics of Art of Animation WSL/TTL/PSA-Z
Semester I
1. Exploration of using body parts (e.g., hands) as: characters, symbols, or artistic material;
2. Exploration of new forms of expression allowing for personal experiences in animation;
3. Recognition of various roles of the animator and ways of coexistence between form and the instructor.
4. Collaboration with the actor in the realization of a simple stage etude. ;
5. „Living picture" as a form of visual expression.
II
1. Plastic form as a starting point for the scenic discourse;
2. Theme as a starting point for creating an artistic statement within the realm of plastic material; selection of an appropriate plastic form for the etude's theme.
3. Creation of a short stage statement - installation using a chosen plastic form.

Assessment criteria
To pass the course, active participation in classes, assessment of preparation for subsequent sessions, level of engagement, and visible development of skills in understanding principles of expression through plastic form are required. Additionally, students must complete an original artistic project related to the course content. The final evaluation will also consider teamwork skills and the application of basic professional ethics in theatrical work.
The requirement for passing is attendance at a minimum of 50% of the classes.
