Term 2018/19-Z:
While discussing plays addressed to the puppet theatre and dramas which inspired puppet performances, students analyze (basing on selected examples) questions of: what intellectual and emotional content do the texts offer, what exactly does the puppet theatre give these texts, how does it influence the understanding of puppetry and to what recipient may be easier to reach thanks to puppet forms? The analysis of these problems are carried out on several groups of texts, both on ancient and contemporary examples, written by such Polish authors like Jan Wilkowski, Jan Ośnica, Natalia Gołębska, Piotr Tomaszuk, Tadeusz Słobodzianek, Marta Guśniowska, Robert Jarosz, Monika Milewska, Izabela Degórska, Malina Prześluga, Michał Walczak, Magda Fertacz and authors from foreign countries, like Edward Gordon Craig, Federico Garcia Lorca, Alfred Jarry, Michel de Ghelderode, Ulrich Hub, Karin Serres, Phillippe Dorin, Martin Baltscheit and others. |
