Classical Puppet Techniques WSL/ATL/KTL
The aim of the lectures and exercises is to develop the following skills:
- Recognizing and utilizing the means of theatrical expression of the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet
- Combining the motor skills of the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet with the interpretation of dramatic text
- Building elementary acting etudes using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet
- Creating a stage character using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet with a defined visual appearance of a given puppet
- Consciously using the Stick Puppet, Hand Puppet, and Rod Puppet in a shared repertoire

Assessment criteria
IV term (semester): exam
Methods of verification:
- Monitoring successive stages of specified workshop exercises
- The possibility of passing successive stages of specified workshop exercises through mid-semester presentation forms
- Presentation of prepared workshop exercises/studies in the form of accreditation/examination shows in front of the examination committee
- Both individual and collective work are subject to assessment
- In the case of absence, the student is required to make up for the missed program content
- The student is entitled to two unexcused absences
– In the case of excused absences with a medical certificate, they must attend
at least 50% of the classes
